It all began on a quiet Friday evening. Claudia Tinnirello was curled up on the sofa, iPad in hand, determined to build a website for herself. No agency. No fancy tools. Just her, her ideas, and a growing ambition she could no longer ignore. That simple moment sparked what would soon become something far greater.
That night marked the beginning of Sophisticated Cloud.
Claudia’s story isn’t a typical tech tale. Born in sun-drenched Sicily and now proudly calling England home since 2005, her path has been anything but linear. She’s a trained chef, a compelling public speaker, and a designer with a deep passion for user experience. After facing her fourth redundancy, she embraced the moment — and chose to build something of her own. Something lasting.
Today, she’s not just a certified Squarespace designer and UX advocate — she’s someone who genuinely cares about making technology feel human. About making it easier for people to thrive online.
Because for Claudia, success isn’t found in trends or templates.
It’s found in crafting digital homes that feel personal, purposeful, and proudly yours — whether you’re a visionary founder, a creative soul, or someone who prefers things to just work — beautifully.
Claudia had spent years immersed in digital marketing, data analysis, and web development, working with some of the UK’s leading companies. But she’d seen the same pattern time and again: small businesses and creatives left feeling alienated by technical jargon, convoluted design processes, and out-of-reach price tags.
She decided it was time to do things differently. With one guiding principle in mind: “If your seven-year-old or your nan can navigate your website, then it’s a success.”
That motto shaped everything. Sophisticated Cloud was founded on the belief that digital spaces should feel welcoming, not overwhelming. Beautiful, but also brilliantly simple. It's a studio built to empower — not confuse — and to help brands build a confident online presence without breaking the bank.
At Sophisticated Cloud, we craft elegant, bespoke websites that not only tell your brand’s story with clarity and charm, but also support meaningful growth — attracting the right audience, building trust, and opening up new opportunities for revenue and connection.
But her work doesn’t stop at websites. Claudia is also the founder of The Artisan Showcase — a philanthropic initiative born from her lifelong passion for handmade craft and a deep reverence for old traditions. To her, these are not just hobbies — they are essential skills, cultural heritage, and stories passed down through generations. They are tools that must never be forgotten.
As an advocate for traditional craftsmanship and a purveyor of quiet luxury, Claudia created The Artisan Showcase to uplift and support independent makers across the UK. The initiative provides a platform for artisans to share their journeys, showcase their skills, and access vital resources to grow their businesses.
Through this work, she helps preserve heritage skills, foster innovation, and open doors to fairer opportunities. More than just a platform, The Artisan Showcase is a community — one that honours craftsmanship, nurtures creativity, and shines a light on the beauty of making things by hand.
