Nick Keith
(MA FRSA)
I’m a professional editor, journalist, wordsmith, and author based in Winchester, United Kingdom.
I add impact to the copy and content of individuals and corporates. I help to make their words flow and work harder for them in all their documents – in personal statements, reports & web content, and presentations & books.
I’m also passionate about education. As an Enterprise Adviser for the Careers and Enterprise Company I aim to help schools with their careers’ advice strategy. As one of the mentors at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College in Eastleigh, and also at Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke, I help to improve students’ confidence, analytical skills and self-esteem.
People’s mental health is extremely important to me, especially in these times of pandemic. To help people look after their mental health, to get and stay fit mentally fit, is just as vital as promoting physical fitness. That’s way I support the great work of the Happy Healing Hut, and have trained in Mental Health First Aid to mentor.
As a graduate of Oxford University with endless curiosity and desire to learn, I am keen to give back to others some of my experience and knowledge of life. This includes 10 years at The Times; 20 years as director of my own separate book and magazines companies, with a range of large corporate customers; and 7 years as communications director of a full service marketing agency.
